Sport, inclusione e rispetto per l'ambiente si sono uniti in una mattinata di grande valore civico. L'Umana Reyer, in collaborazione con il CUS Venezia, ha dato vita a una speciale giornata di Plogging che ha visto protagonisti i ragazzi del progetto One Team, portando un messaggio di cura e attenzione per la città di Venezia.

L'evento si è svolto lunedì 13 ottobre mattina, con partenza dalla sede del CUS Venezia. Il gruppo ha percorso calli e rive della zona, lavorando fino alle Zattere per raccogliere i rifiuti abbandonati, unendo l'attività fisica all'impegno per l'ambiente.

A rappresentare la Reyer c'erano Roberta Meneghel e Marco Mainente, referenti del progetto One Team, che hanno accompagnato i ragazzi della comunità COGES Don Milani insieme all'educatore Nikoll Zefi.

L'atmosfera è stata fantastica, con i ragazzi che hanno partecipato con grande entusiasmo e contentezza. È stata un'esperienza sentita e coerente, un modo concreto per insegnare l'importanza del rispetto per l'ambiente e del decoro urbano.

L'iniziativa ha voluto dimostrare come un gesto che può sembrare insignificante, come gettare un rifiuto per terra, abbia in realtà un impatto devastante. Al contrario, adoperarsi attivamente per pulire la propria città è un atto significativo che aiuta a comprendere il valore di ogni singola azione. Da oggi, tutti i partecipanti saranno ancora più attenti a non sporcare e a proteggere la bellezza che li circonda.

Sports, inclusion, and respect for the environment came together in a morning of great civic value. Umana Reyer, in collaboration with CUS Venezia, organized a special Plogging day starring the youths from the One Team project, bringing a message of care and attention for the city of Venice.

The event took place on Monday, October 13th, in the morning, starting from the CUS Venezia headquarters. The group walked through local calli (streets) and rive (banks), working their way to the Zattere to collect discarded waste, combining physical activity with environmental commitment.

Representing Reyer were Roberta Meneghel and Marco Mainente, the One Team project managers, who accompanied the youths from the COGES Don Milani community along with their educator, Nikoll Zefi.

The atmosphere was fantastic, with the participants showing great enthusiasm and joy. It was a heartfelt and meaningful experience, a tangible way to teach the importance of respecting the environment and urban decorum.

The initiative aimed to show how a seemingly insignificant act, like littering, can actually have a devastating impact. Conversely, actively working to clean one's city is a significant act that helps understand the value of every single action. From now on, all participants will be even more mindful not to litter and to protect the beauty that surrounds them.
